Below are some pictures taken during the Undoukai (運動会), a Japanese sports meet. Featured here is the Tohoku University (Faculty of Engineering) Undoukai held somewhere in Sendai City.
Here's a video clip of the Tug of War game. Two opposing departments of 25 participants each demonstrated brute strength in trying to win over the game.
